1. Battery choice：Dry battery type：two 1.5V dry battery Solar panel type： two 1.5V rechargeable battery 2. Irrigation program options 3. Setting of irrigation procedures： (any action will be performed within 5 seconds) First step： choose the irrigation frequency on the left dial Second step： choose the irrigation time on the right dial For example： set every hour irrigate 5 minutes (1) turn right dial to 5minutes scale (2) turn left dial to 1hour scale . The indicating light will flash and start to irrigation. 5 minutes later， timer will stop irrigation. And later， it will irrigate every hour for 5 minutes. 4. Re-select the irrigation frequency When you want to change the frequency， first select the time and then select the frequency block. Each change of frequency shift will reset the internal timing. 5. Temporary irrigation Turn left dial to reset scale， turn the right dial to the ”ON” it will irrigate， turn to ”OFF” it will stop irrigate. 6. Program protection The irrigation time interval must greater than the irrigation time， otherwise the timer would not work for any situation. For example， the chosen frequency is 1 hour， and irrigation time is 90 minutes which is greater than 1 hour， Therefore， timer will not allow water to pass through. And if you choose this setting while timer is irrigating， timer will stop work. 7. Rain sensor This water timer comes with rain sensor. The sensor is located at the top of the product. If it is rainy， the groove will fill with the water and timer will stop irrigation process or start a new irrigation operation. The timer will start to work until the water in the groove evaporates. To prevent unexpected operating error， please avoid water for irrigation to spray in to the groove.
